Now many watch brands have their limited edition watches. So there are various options of limited edition timepieces. And what is a good limited edition watch? In my opinion, good limited edition watches should have the three features.

1. Uinque Movement. In spite of the large amount of production, it will be a good “limited edition” point if the unique movement is fitted in this collection only. In fact, the development cost of movement is pretty high. Therefore, limited edition watches coming with unique movements will be more valuable. What’s more, it is recommendable that limited edition watches are equipped with rare old movement.

2. Inimitable Case. A good watch always comes with good case. A case not only protects a watch’s inner beauty but also complements the appearance. So a inimitable case makes the limited edition more collectable.

3. Distinctive Dial. Compared with two points described, a distinctive dial costs the least. In my view, a good distinctive dial should be original and innovative.

In fact, it is not easy to reach the three features together. Hence, if a limited edition watch with one of the features can be regarded as a good limited edition.
